Scheduling for social welfare and shelters
Employees and volunteers in one schedule. Shelters staffed day and night, VOGs tracked and sickness absence handled on time.
Schedule your volunteers too, at no cost to you
Volunteers get the app, see their shifts and swap them themselves, just like your employees. You only pay for those on payroll. If you pay a volunteer allowance, Oibase keeps an eye on the limits of the Belastingdienst (Dutch Tax Authority) for you.
Sound familiar?
Then it is time to do things differently.
Volunteers managed through lists and chat groups
Who is coming on Tuesday evening? In Oibase, volunteers are in the same schedule as your employees, with the app on their own phone.
Shelters that must be staffed day and night
Night shifts and sleeping shifts, weekends and public holidays. Colleagues pick up open shifts themselves, and you see right away where a gap remains.
Keeping track of VOGs and training
VOG, BHV, dealing with aggression: per person you see what is in place and what is about to expire. If something has expired, Oibase no longer schedules that person.
Your support workers and volunteers see their shifts and sleeping shifts
Day, evening and sleeping shifts in one schedule, with your volunteers included. Everyone sees their own shifts in the app and swapping works without phoning around.
- Works on any phone, no app store needed: add Oibase to your home screen
- Notification on your phone as soon as your schedule changes
- Hours are passed on to the timesheet automatically

Frequently asked questions
Do volunteers count towards the price?
No. Volunteers are free in Oibase. You only pay for employees on payroll. Volunteers still get the app and appear in the schedule.
What about the volunteer allowance?
If you pay an hourly allowance, Oibase calculates per month and per year what each volunteer receives and warns you when you exceed the limits set by the Belastingdienst (Dutch Tax Authority). In 2026 that is a maximum of € 5.75 per hour (under 21: € 3.40), € 220 per month and € 2,200 per year.
Does it work for shelters staffed day and night?
Yes. You set up your own shifts, including night shifts and sleeping shifts, and Oibase monitors the Dutch Working Hours Act (Arbeidstijdenwet) for employees on payroll. Colleagues pick up open shifts themselves in the app.
Which collective agreement (cao) is on the contracts?
By default the cao Sociaal Werk. If you work under the cao Gehandicaptenzorg, GGZ, Jeugdzorg or your own cao, you choose it under Settings.
Does Oibase hold client data?
No. You schedule per location or project, not per person you support. Client reports and files belong in your own client system.
