Enough supervision at every pool?
The competition pool, recreational pool and instruction pool each need their own staffing. In Excel you only see on the day itself that someone is short.
Qualifications that quietly expire
Resuscitation, first aid or the pool attendant diploma: one expired certificate and that lifeguard no longer counts as supervision.

Scheduling per pool

Your cao and surcharges
By default Oibase names the cao Zwembaden, Zwemscholen (Dutch collective agreement for swimming pools and swim schools) on your contracts. If your pool falls under the cao Recreatie or the cao Sport, you select that one under Settings. You set the surcharge percentages yourself, once.
Scheduling swimming lessons
Class groups with a fixed day, time, pool and instructor, a maximum number of children per instructor and the school holidays included. Instructors see their own groups in the app, without parents' email addresses.
Parent portal
Parents receive a personal link and see when their child has a lesson, and whether anything special is going on: no swimming lesson today, a different time or a different pool. No password needed. In Enterprise, € 1.15 per child per month.
Fair prices
A fixed amount plus a small amount per employee. Prices for Ireland, excluding VAT. Paying annually gives a 10% discount. Prices differ per country: see the prices for your country →
Payslips (Premium and Enterprise): € 1.73 per payslip sent. Parent portal for swimming lessons (Enterprise): € 1.15 per child per month, only for children with a parent email address. Seasonal pool? Outside the season you pause your subscription and pay nothing, also with an annual subscription: your year simply moves forward. Prices are indexed annually on 1 January. You pay by invoice.

Frequently asked questions
How does the supervision check work?
For each pool you set the minimum number of lifeguards required per shift. For each shift, Oibase only counts people who are supervisors, are not reported sick and hold a valid qualification, and it warns you when there is a shortfall.
Can Oibase see when a qualification expires?
Yes. For each employee you see the qualification and its expiry date. Anyone scheduled with an expired qualification triggers a warning and does not count as supervision.
Can I also schedule swim instructors and cashiers?
Yes. Everyone is in the same schedule. Only lifeguards and other supervisors count towards the supervision check.
Which collective agreement (cao) does Oibase use?
By default the cao Zwembaden, Zwemscholen (Dutch collective agreement for swimming pools and swim schools). If your pool falls under the cao Recreatie or the cao Sport, you select that one under Settings.
What do parents see in the parent portal?
Only their own child: the class group, day, time, pool and the instructor's first name, upcoming lessons and special notices such as a lesson that is cancelled. They do not see other children or employees.
Does Oibase take pool staff aged 16 and 17 into account?
Yes. The working hours check warns you if a young person is scheduled for more than 9 hours per shift or 45 hours per week, works between 23:00 and 06:00 or has less than 12 hours of rest.
What if our outdoor pool is only open in summer?
Then you pause your subscription outside the season, in the app under Settings. You pay nothing. Everyone can still log in and look, but nothing can be changed and no notifications are sent. Next season you resume with one click.
